The effects of radiant properties are well known and respected. When you select this feature to be a principle component of your new home, you can enjoy the following.

How do we do it?
It's simple; we work in concert with your Builder to produce a thermal shell (insulated floors, walls, roof) that has integrity second to none. We even test each home to prove that it is prepared for Mother Nature by simulating similar weather conditions and evaluating its performance. Each home must pass a certification process, which is proof of its promise to perform.

Then we install a very advanced heating/cooling/air quality system. This serves to manage the conditions inside your thermal shell. It's all regulated by a sophisticated computer system that monitors itself! If it ever senses a condition outside of what it's designed to deliver, it calls our monitoring center to log the condition. We then can determine a course of action that is most appropriate.

You might think that this all sounds expensive? In most cases this very advanced system costs less to produce the effects listed than purchasing and installing a dedicated floor radiant heating system. In addition our system produces the radiant effect, on all floors, walls and even ceilings.

Caution: This system is only available through partner builders; don't accept substitutes for the lead innovator, in this class of home performance systems.

The "Radiant Home" Includes:
The entire home is treated with a series of proprietary technologies that form a complete barrier to the elements. Then this vary stable living space is controlled by our own Managed Climate and Air Quality System.

It all begins with Planning
We start by studying the climate that you plan to build in. We consider the seasons, the extents of temperature and weather stress in your location. Then we review your plans and design every surface to repel the researched weather forces. We then counsel with your Builder to coordinate the process with their efforts, and the work of supporting trades.

Materials
Some of the most significant research that we have done has produced a group of materials that are proven performers in a wide variety of situations. Every home requires many different materials and application techniques, all backed up by field-testing. Anybody can insulate, very few can specify, install and test to deliver designed performance values.

Building Envelope Includes:

• Foundation insulation including under the floor.
• Complete insulation systems in the Walls, and roof configurations.
• Effective barrier systems around windows, doors and fireplaces.
• Every surface that borders a ground, air or weather force.

Managed Climate System
Once you have space managed by the superb values of a shell with tested integrity, the real possibilities begin. Every surface is heated/cooled by equipment that is sized just for the task. In addition to temperature control, all living space is supplied with a specified level of humidity. This matches the body's needs in this very important comfort feature.

Finally fresh air is brought in at 95% efficiency 24/7. It's like having your windows open all of the time, without the downside of inviting in odors, or unwanted contaminants like mold spores or seasonal pollen.

In short this system produces precise temperature, humidity and air quality to design parameters.

Smart Processor Controls
Coordinating equipment operations as conditions change in the home is the task of our "Smart System."

It is always monitoring conditions throughout the home, and engaging only the equipment that is necessary when needed. Also this system features a very sophisticated 'Moderation Command and Control System." This senses when there are slight temperature variations in your home from events like, solar gain, and cooking or hot showers. When this occurs often the system engages and moves the surplus energy (BTU's) to other locations within the home to either be stored, or to raise/lower temperature in another zone as called for by the sensing system.

Your Control Interface
You only have three decisions to make when considering the use of this system. You may select "Winter, Summer or Vacation" settings, everything else is handled for you by the units processing center. In fact, the heart of the controller even watches out for itself, it calls our service center when periodic maintenance is required to keep it at peak levels of efficiency.

For Your Information
Conventional Systems (by others) noted in our literature are typically code based and meet minimal market standards. They were never designed to produce comprehensive performance values. Radiant Floor Systems (by others) can and do produce beneficial affects to managed climate space. They can only produce benefits where they are used, normally limited to floors applications.

Our commitment is to work with your construction team throughout your project until move in day. From that point on the systems produce 24/7 actual condition data so that we may confirm continuous active operation.
